For Users: Find, Check and Decide

A safer, more informed way to find and work with professionals.

Find & Cross-Check a Professional

Start with what you need.

Search JoberTrust by name, profession, specialization, location, or phone number.

Explore a professional's profile to see the information available about their reputation, services, reviews, verification status, and other trust signals.

Searching with just a phone number

Sometimes the only information you have about someone is a phone number from WhatsApp, social media, or an online marketplace.

JoberTrust allows you to search by phone number to see whether that number is associated with a professional profile or existing feedback on the platform.

Before sending an advance payment, check the details you have.

A phone number search is an additional trust signal, not a guarantee that a transaction is safe.

JoberTrust Accounts Use Real Identities

Reputation works better when people are accountable.

JoberTrust is built around accountable interactions between users and professionals. Users and professionals are expected to create their JoberTrust accounts using their real names.

This helps JoberTrust:

  • Reduce fake or disposable identities
  • Connect reviews to identifiable accounts
  • Make evidence checking more reliable
  • Reduce disputes about whether a reviewer actually dealt with a professional
  • Better compare reviewer information with supporting transaction evidence

Reviews require verified accounts

Before a user can submit a review, their JoberTrust account must have a verified email address and a verified phone number.

This creates an additional barrier against anonymous spam, disposable accounts, and attempts to manipulate a professional's reputation using multiple unverified accounts.

Real-name registration and account verification help improve accountability, but they do not by themselves prove that every statement in a review is true.

Your account information is used to support trust, safety, moderation, verification, and review integrity. Public profiles and reviews do not need to expose sensitive personal information.

Check Their Reputation & Trust Score

Look beyond the star rating.

A professional's reputation is more than an average number of stars.

JoberTrust uses a weighted review system when calculating Trust Score so that reviews with stronger supporting evidence can have greater influence than standard reviews.

Standard Reviews

Reviews submitted by eligible, verified JoberTrust accounts provide customer feedback and contribute to a professional's reputation.

JoberTrust Checked Reviews

When a review is supported by evidence that passes JoberTrust's checking process, it can receive greater weight in the Trust Score.

Checked Reviews carry 2× the review weight of standard reviews.

This helps make the reputation system more resistant to low-quality spam and review manipulation.

Trust Score is a reputation signal based on available JoberTrust data. It is not a guarantee of service quality, honesty, or future performance.

Understand Their Verification

Know what has been verified.

JoberTrust uses profile statuses and verification levels to help you understand the information that has been verified about a professional.

Unclaimed
A professional profile exists on JoberTrust, but the professional has not claimed it. An unclaimed profile may contain information already available on the platform or information generated through customer activity.
Claimed
The professional has claimed their profile and can manage their professional information on JoberTrust. Claiming a profile does not automatically mean the professional is fully verified.
Verified
Professionals can complete different levels of verification.
Tier 1

Contact Verification

Phone number and email address verified.

Tier 2

Identity Verification

Government-issued identification verified.

Tier 3

Professional Verification

Business registration and relevant professional certificates verified where applicable.

Verification confirms specific information submitted through JoberTrust's verification process. It is not a guarantee of service quality, honesty, or future conduct.

Read Reviews & Look for JoberTrust Checked

Learn from other people's experiences.

Reviews provide insight into what previous customers experienced when dealing with a professional.

When evaluating reviews, consider the service involved, the review details, the professional's overall reputation, verification status, and whether the review has been checked.

What makes a review JoberTrust Checked?

A reviewer may submit supporting evidence to help demonstrate that the interaction or transaction described in the review actually took place. Depending on the service, this may include:

Proof of Payment
  • Bank transfer confirmation
  • POS receipt
  • Payment confirmation
  • Other relevant transaction records
Proof of Work
  • Photos
  • Invoices
  • Work records
  • Other relevant service evidence

JoberTrust moderators review submitted evidence according to the requirements of the Checked Review process. Not every document submitted will qualify.

For example, evidence should reasonably correspond to the people involved, service described, transaction details, and timing of the review. A payment receipt alone does not automatically prove that the claimed service was performed.

Evidence may be rejected where it is inconsistent with the claim, does not reasonably connect the parties to the transaction, appears altered or fabricated, or does not provide enough information to support the review.

Your evidence stays private

Supporting documents submitted for review checking are reviewed privately and are not published publicly as part of the review.

This helps reviewers provide evidence without publicly exposing sensitive payment or personal information.

Make a More Informed Decision

Reviews are accountable

Because JoberTrust requires reviewers to use their real identity and verify their email and phone number before reviewing, professionals have greater protection against anonymous review spam and disposable accounts.

This does not mean every review is automatically true. It means reviews come from accounts that have passed JoberTrust's basic identity and contact requirements and can be subject to the platform's moderation and evidence processes.

Information Before Interaction. Reputation Before Transaction.

JoberTrust is built around a simple principle: you should have the opportunity to check before you decide.

Whether you're hiring a professional, booking a service, buying something, or sending an advance payment, reputation matters.

JoberTrust brings together professional profiles, accountable user reviews, verification, evidence-backed reviews, services, and reputation signals to help people make more informed decisions.
